The kids and I enjoyed a laid back day while everyone else worked. 🙂 I got a lot of writing done, which felt awesome! I sat outside in the shade while the kids played and wrote and drank rooibos tea. It was wonderful! I also had the kids clean out the super gross van. It’s not perfect now, but it’s loads better, and will hold us over until we get home and can vacuum it all up and get it spic and span!
Lover went out shopping again in the afternoon to get enough stuff for dinner, and he brought me flowers! That was a very fun surprise. We got things ready for dinner and then Yesi and James came over. They were an instant hit with the kiddos, and we had a hard time getting a word in edgewise. 🙂 We ate chicken Caesar salad (shocker!) and hummus and everything was delicious. Yesi brought lots of dessert and we had a great time catching up. Tomorrow both Yesi and Lover are off, so we are going adventuring!
