Happy Memorial Day! I worked on making my birthday ice cream cake in the morning, as well as starting to sort and pack for our trip! The kids ate the leftover cookies from the cake as second breakfast and were super happy about that. We got payment from our guests and listed a bunch more things for sale – it’s happening, folks!
At noon we headed over to our friends’ for a BBQ. We had an awesome time talking and playing games and eating ALL THE FOOD. We love these families so much and will miss them over the next few months! The kids played with each other, on the playground, watched shows and then helped us with our games too. It was a super relaxing day!
After we got home a friend stopped by and we chatted for a while and filled her in on our plans. We’re going to miss everyone so much! We also sold another piece and I finished my ice cream cake and sorted through some memorabilia. All in all it was a good day!
