One of the interesting things that has come out of this trip is that the kids have started hanging out segregated by gender. The boys discovered that they can link their headphones, and they spent most of the day connected to each other, listening to music and audio performances. It’s nice to see them getting along and finding new ways to entertain themselves.
Most of Wednesday was spent on errands and prepping to leave. I took the kids to Walmart to get a bunch of toiletries that we were getting low on. We ate up a bunch of leftovers, and Yesi and James brought over mediterranean food for our last evening together. We ate dinner, hung out and then said our goodbyes. It’s been so fun to be close by and able to visit with them so much this past week!
