Today is a big day – it’s been 100 days since transplant for my friend Heidi! It’s so encouraging to see her recovering and back at home with her family. Next up (and hopefully last up) is her kidney transplant, but they still don’t have a date set for that. Please keep praying for her!

Monday morning was the first day of our new two parent schedule! Lover rode his bike in the morning early, and then we got the kids started on their day. Lover purposely made sure his last day was the day BEFORE his birthday, so that our first day of the sabbatical could be a double celebration! In true Lover style, he wanted a simple celebration and to spend the day with his family. We had breakfast burritos for, well, breakfast, and they were super yummy.

Living in Colorado is always an adventure! The temperature dropped 60 degrees in less than 24 hours. We woke up to very cold rain, and by the end of the day it had turned into snow. We didn’t get nearly as much snow as the rest of our area (some got ten inches or more!)
